Messages: shift chat, direct and broadcasts
Three kinds of message, each on its own tab.
- Shift messages - every shift has its own conversation between the staff member and the store.
- Direct - staff message their home store’s managers; managers message one or several of their staff, each privately. Only the people in a conversation can read it, head office included.
- Broadcasts - one-way announcements to a store, several stores or everyone. They can’t be replied to.
Direct messages are part of the Chat module, so not every store has them.
